So yea we arent actually at the stage where the entire car is actually able to be powered by the sun but with this it is getting very close indeed. Well at the moment on the market is something that could attach onto your car that could actually benefit you in several ways. The thing that could really help you out is this solar attachment as believe it or not your air conditioning actually uses up fuel during the course of the day.

{It works as you can attach it onto a specially made spoiler in which when you aren’t driving you roll out the cover over the top of your car and it starts to actually charge the car up with solar energy}. Then once you are in the car you can use it on a lot of things including the electrics for the windows, the air con and even to power the CD player within your car.

If you think where this kind of technology will be in 20 years time you will begin to understand the potential to this kind of product. Of course the cover itself really isnt that nice and it makes the car look a bit stupid but if you buy these things the money made will go towards something better.

It is unsure if they are going to release this product onto the market or not as of yet but if they do it is sure to start selling to the people who are really interested in these green products.

For people that don’t really care about this and need a new car then look into getting a new Audi or perhaps a Audi TT Roadster. There are also many used cars if you do not fancy splashing out on a brand new car.

The Riversimple urban car actually has a very small fuel cell and looks like it is going to be the smallest one to date so far.

The vehicle is no bigger than a Smart car, weighing just 350kg, and has been developed over three years by teams at Oxford and Cranfield universities. It is actually quite a good car for someone living in a city as it can reach a top speed of 50mph which isnt bad for a car of this type.

The power actually comes from a 6kw fuel cell which is actually one of the smallest ever introduced into a car like this. It uses a composite body to keep the weight down and four electric motors on each wheel, which double as brakes and electricity generators.

There is a bank of ultracapacitors to store this electricity, which in turn provides most of the accelerating power, allowing for a small fuel cell.

One of the really good things about the design to this new car is that once it is all ready it will be made available online for any car manufacturer to take into their own.

One of the great things is that you can lease this car and the lease will actually cover you for the cost of the fuel too.

The head of Riversimple has always been a strong believer in pushing technology forward and he realises that this is going to be big. Of course we now realise that we much minimize the resource source of selling cars which is what these cars are trying to do.”

Britain Gets Electrical

Britain’s road infrastructure is spreading fast with many more charge-up point across the country.

Although London is actually he first place that this all started to happen there have been many other cities now interested in the idea. Brighton is the next place in which cars are going to see a bit of electric activity.

The main reason that Brighton was chosen as the next place is because the company that installs all of these pumps is actually based in Brighton and they have installed more than 100 in London so far. Four stations are already in place in Brighton and will be useable in time for their official launch on October 2nd.

The Elektrobay is capable of charging fully electric and plug-in hybrid cars, with customers getting a key fob that wirelessly unlocks the unit for roadside charging.

The great thing is that by moving to a smaller place it is starting to show just how big of an impact it is all making.

There are two major reasons why people are just not buying these cars, one is that there are not enough places to charge it up and two is that they are still a bit pants. These are just two of the reasons people are not buying electirc cars.

However, once there is somewhere to charge up people will get them and that will in turn create demand for more research funding to make better cars.

So although there are actually not very many places where you can charge up your vehicle if you give it a bit of time we could be on to something here.

The real question that needs to be asked is will they be upgrading things like used cars to make them greener? If you have recently gone out and purchased a Audi TT Roadster then you are not going to be pleased when you cannot upgrade it to make it a bit greener. If you think back ten years you will know there was no one interested in this brand new idea. At the start there were actually only two types of these cars you could even buy and both of these really didnt seem to attract too much attention.

Although a hybrid does emmit less C02 than a normal car it is a long way off from emitting no C02 altogether which is why it is only at its first stage.

The propulsion systems that completely eliminate tailpipe emissions include hydrogen-powered fuel cells and the battery-powered electric motor, but both face significant hurdles before they can compete with conventional cars.

Something that has turned out to be better is the electric car. Like a fuel-cell vehicle it produces no tailpipe emissions and little noise, and the distribution network for its energy source largely exists – taking electricity the final few metres to a charging post is nothing compared to establishing a hydrogen infrastructure.

The main problem when you are thinking of an electric car is actually the distance it is able to travel, it can only go for around 100 miles compared to 300 on a normal car it isnt that brilliant.

In fact, 80 to 100 miles is more than enough for most daily commutes, but a recharge time of several hours makes long journeys impractical. Which is why General Motors’ “range-extending” Vauxhall Ampera (aka the Chevrolet Volt) offers a promising compromise when it goes on sale in 2012.

The great thing about this car is that for the first 40 miles the car actually runs on electricty alone which of course is more than enough for someone living in the city.

The ease of recharging it, and pure electric cars, is likely to be improved by policies intended to encourage electric car ownership. The government at the moment will actually help you out by giving around £5000 but the mayor of London wants to make the city one of the leaders in the electric car.

However until such a green car comes out that is actually worth going after something a bit less greener so why not look into Audi Cars or of course a Audi TT Roadster

Failing this you could even look into getting Used Cars however it is really up to you on what you do on this but I would say the best thing to do is just wait and see if things are actually going to get worse before you do anything.

Fuel Rises Are A problem

One of the reasons that people are not going out to buy new cars is because they are just becoming so damn expensive to buy and the VAT rise will add to that. yes cars are going to get a bit more expensive next year but there is no difference in this to a time before the recession so people do need to remember this.

Many people are also worried that the fuel prices are going to soar and there are many families that have already sold any extra vehicles to make sure that they only have the one per household. Although this does effectively reduce your fuel bill by half and sometimes more it is often not practical.

There are many alternatives on the way to make things a bit easier for the general public. However the government are giving people money for their old cars if you scrap them to get something that is better for the environment, then again they are bringing in taxes for people with green cars?

Yes you are doing your bit to save the planet and helping to fix some of the damage the human race has done to it. The government are slime that need to stop putting taxes on things that do not need to be taxed, they are thinking about putting tax on people that are going on holiday. Of course everyone knows that the government do not actually have to go out and pay for their trips?

However until such a green car comes out that is actually worth going after something a bit less greener so why not look into the Cheap Audi or of course a Audi TT Roadster

The New Green Car
